- Miss Lloyd
- Ms. Lloyd is a teacher at Toquam Magnet Elementary School in Stamford, Connecticut where she has served in the capacity of homeroom teacher and Title 1 Math Teacher for grades kindergarten through grade 5. Throughout her career she has been: recognized multiple times by Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers, awarded the Stamford Public Schools Spotlight Award, featured in the Association for Curriculum and Supervision Development video “Closing the Achievement Gap”, and became a Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund Teacher Program Alumna. In addition to earning a Bachelor Degree in Psychology and a Master of Education Degree, Ms. Lloyd holds professional Connecticut State certifications in Elementary Education grades K-6 and Computer Education. In 2014, she was selected to be on the CT Learn Zillion Dream Team to write and publish curriculum aligned to the Common Core State Standards for the State of Connecticut. In 2015, she was inducted into Pi Lambda Theta honor society for highly qualified educators and earned a second master’s degree in Intermediate School Administration. Ms. Lloyd is the coach of Toquam’s Lego robotics team and the facilitator for the student run vegetable garden.
